Kazakh, Jordanian PMs open Jordan Trade Center in Astana
Карим Масимов и Самир аль-Рифаи ASTANA. September 17. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan and Jordan Karim Massimov and Samir Zaid al-Rifai have opened the Jordan Trade Center.
The commercial center was opened under the auspices of the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO), which is a governmental organization and is engaged in promotion of the Jordanian goods at the world market. In particular, there are represented cosmetic products, medicines, products for veterinary science, fertilizers and light industrial goods.
The main purpose of the center is to forge relationships between the two countries’ entrepreneurs for wholesale supply of goods from Jordan.
“We have witnessed again the fact that the relations between the two countries develop very positively. Those special relations that bind top officials of both states should be reflected in other spheres of cooperation, in particular, now the special role is given to private sector. Today you have the opportunity to get acquainted with samples of the Jordanian products”, Samir Zaid al-Rifai said.
The Kazakh Prime Minister, in his turn, emphasized that he held negotiations with his colleague, who visits Kazakhstan for the first time since assumption of office of the Prime Minister of Jordan. “I am confident that the Jordanian Prime Minister’s visit to Kazakhstan will give additional impetus to the relations development between the two countries, which develop positively”, K.Massimov resumed.
