Heads Of CIS Countries Agree To Liberalize Mutual Trade

Heads of the CIS countries have agreed to liberalize mutual trade and continue acceleration of work over new agreement on the free trade area.
This is disclosed in the report of the Foreign Affairs Ministry with the reference to joint announcement of the presidents of Azerbaijan Ilkham Aliev, Armenia Serzh Sargasian, Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko, Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev, Russia Dmitry Medvedev and Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.
The sides agreed to eye this issue at the next meeting of the council of heads of CIS countries.
The presidents appreciated the results of the informal summit.
Besides, the sides pointed to expediency of joint implementation of investment development projects directed to the expansion of the chain of recreation, resort facilities.
The countries agreed to jointly participate in the construction and modernization of stadiums, sport constructions and infrastructure in the frames of preparation of Euro 2012 in Ukraine and 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Russia.
The heads of the CIS countries supported the initiative to hold the international conference entitled “25th anniversary of Chornobyl Disaster. Security of the Future.”
