Crude Production in Kazakhstan Rises 10 Percent in MayThe volume of crude produced in Kazakhstan in May grew 10 percent compared to May of 2009, IA-Novosti Kazakhstan reports, citing the state statistics agency.

According to the agency, from January to May 2010, the country produced 27.6 million tons of crude or 9.1 percent more than in January to May 2009.

In the first quarter of the current year, Kazakhstan increased crude output 9.6 percent, producing 16.5 million tons.
