3rd Astana Economic Forum to be held on July 1-2The 3rd Astana Economic Forum is to be held in Kazakhstan’s capital on July 1-2. It will be dedicated to a topic “Sustainable economic growth in the post-crisis period”. Assistant to the Kazakh President Bakhyt Sultanov has announced it at a special press conference in Almaty.

He noted that the Forum is held under auspices of the Kazakh President. “It is a dialog platform of economists of the whole world, which gathers outstanding scientists. Two Nobel Laureates took part in it last year, and three Nobel Laureates confirmed their participation”, the President’s Assistant said.

The annual Economic Forum will gather over 2,000 representatives of political and business circles from more than 50 countries of the world, and leading scientists, representatives of public and mass media for discussion of the key issues of the global economy development. The guests will deliver reports and take part in discussions on topical issues of ensuring socio-economic security in the post-crisis period.

The Business Forum of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will be an important event of the Astana Economic Forum. Over 300 delegates from various countries will take part in it. The Forum is aimed at creation of the Eurasian Business Congress aimed at expansion of mutually beneficial trade-economic ties and investment cooperation on the Eurasian space, interaction in development of promising and hi-tech spheres of economy.

Within the framework of the Astana Economic Forum there will be held conferences, roundtables and presentations and etc.
