PM to take part in opening of Kazakh pavilion at Shanghai World Expo

Kazakh Prime minister Karim Massimov will take part in the opening ceremony of the national pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010 on Friday.
According to the organizers, the Kazakh delegation headed by the Prime Minister will get acquainted with the exposition of the national pavilion that includes eight zones. A short film about Kazakhstan will be screened within the event as well.
“The theme of the pavilion is “Astana – the Heart of Eurasia”. Virtualization and advanced information system are used in the pavilion for demonstration of the beauty of Kazakhstan’s capital city – Astana in order to provide visitors with an opportunity to get acquainted with young, busy and fast growing city located in the center of Eurasia”, director of the pavilion Raikhan Dilmagambetova said.
The Kazakhstan pavilion is 1 240 sq m and 20 m in height, located near Japanese and Korean pavilions. National Day of Kazakhstan will be held at the world exhibition on June 5.
