SamrukKazyna Fund plans to raise share of participation of development institutions in country’s industrialization

SamrukKazyna National Welfare Fund plans to raise the share of participation of development institutions in Kazakhstan’s forced industrialization program. Executive Director for Management of Financial and Development Institutions of SamrukKazyna Fund Bakhytzhan Sarkeyev said today.
“We plan to raise the share of participation of the development institutions in the country’s forced industrialization project up to 70%. It means to finance the industrial projects through our development institutions”, Sarkeyev added.
According to him, the institutions’ work in the regions will be activated too.
To date Kazakhstan has eight development institutions. Five of them enter the group of SamrukKazyna Fund. These are Damu Fund, Development Bank of Kazakhstan, Investment Fund of Kazakhstan, Kazyna Capital Management and State Corporation on Export Insurance.
