Share of NPL 90+ in Halyk Bank exceeded 13% in first 9 months 2017
The share of non performing loans with over 90 days arrear in Halyk Bank has increased from 10.2% to 13.4% in January-September 2017, said Umut Shayakhmetova, chairfigure of the bank.
The growth of non performing loans was mainly caused by consolidation of the loan portfolio of Kazkommertsbank and debt of two corporate loaners working in the agricultural field.
Kazakhstan’s biggest lender, Halyk Bank, has raised its 2017 net income guidance to over 170 billion tenge (about $513 million), Chief Executive Umut Shayakhmetova said on Monday.
The bank had previously forecast this year’s net income at more than 150 billion tenge.
