Deputy Prime Minister Erbolat Dosayev joins National Bank’s Management Board
Deputy Prime Minister Erbolat Dosayev has been appointed to the Management Board of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the decree signed by the Prime Minister reads.
Timur Suleimenov was released from the post of the representative of the Government in the National Bank board.
The decree comes into force from the day of signing.
Dossayev served as the Finance Minister of Kazakhstan from 16 June 2003 to 5 April 2004, head of the Agency for Regulating Natural Monopolies, and later as the Minister of Health Care.
In January 2013, Yerbolat Dossayev was appointed Head of reorganized Ministry of Economic Affairs.
In May 2016, Dossayev stepped down as the Minister of National Economy after rare massive protests across Kazakhstan in connection with land issues. Later, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Baiterek national managing holding.
