Kazakhstan’s Halyk Bank Raises 2017 Profit Guidance

Share of NPL 90+ in Halyk Bank exceeded 13% in first 9 months 2017

ALMATY, Aug 22 (Reuters) – Kazakhstan’s biggest lender, Halyk Bank,, has raised its 2017 consolidated net income guidance to “over 150 billion tenge ($451 million)” from 140 billion tenge, it said in an investor presentation on Tuesday.

The forecast excludes the results of Kazkommertsbank which Halyk Bank took over last month, it said.
