Kazakh Delta Bank Will Not Accept Deposits Or Open Accounts Until November
Delta Bank has been withdrawn of the license for acceptance of deposits and opening of accounts until November 1, said the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
“By the order of the board of the National Bank of Kazakhstan N152 dated July 31 2017 since August 4 2017 the license for acceptance of deposits from individuals and legal entities, opening of bank accounts for individuals and legal entities of Delta Bank has been suspended until November 1 2017,” reads the message.
The decision has been taken within the frameworks of supervisory response to certain violations of legislation by the bank under the art.48 due to “inappropriate performance of liabilities on payments and transfer operations and systematic violation of procedural norms and other liabilities”.
“The license has been suspended for attraction of new deposits and opening of new bank accounts for legal entities and individuals and concerns servicing of current deposits and clients of the bank,” said the message.
