Terex keen to participate in infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan

Kazakh Minister of Industry and Trade Aset Isekeshev has met with Terex Corporation Strategic Development Vice President Joseph Krider to discuss the opportunities for the American company to take part in new industrial projects of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Industry Ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, Mr Krider was very much interested if his company could take part in the infrastructure and equipment supply projects of Kazakhstan in order to help develop the railway and pipeline sectors, in the marine port infrastructure projects, or to build a truck assembly plant in Kazakhstan.
Mr Isekeshev informed Mr Krider on the Kazakh national program for industrial development and also said that the mechanical engineering was a priority.
Mr Krider said that his company needed to study the Kazakh market and its potential before talking about some specific projects, according to the statement.
Terex manufactures machines and equipment for the road construction, mining, oil production, transport and manufacturing industries.
