Kazakhstan Has Increased Exports Of Sunflower Oil In 2,5 Times
In may of this year from Kazakhstan to foreign markets was delivered 3.1 million tonnes of sunflower oil, which is 9.5% less compared to the previous month, but 2.5 times higher than may of last year.
The current season continues to show record levels of deliveries of the Kazakhstan oil on foreign markets. So, for the first nine months 2016/17 MG exports exceeded 30 thousand tons, which is 66% higher compared to the same period last season (18.3 thousand tons).
Given taken by Kazakhstan on course for area expansion under oilseeds, and increasing refining capacity, is expected to further strengthen its position in foreign trade of sunflower oil.
2016/17 for the current season is characterized by an increase in the supply of sunflower oil from Kazakhstan to China (18.2 thousand tonnes compared to 9 thousand tons a year earlier), Tajikistan (6.5 thousand tons against 2.9 million tons), and Afghanistan (3.1 million tons versus 0.7 thousand tonnes). Collectively these countries account for more than 90% of total exports.
