BTA Covered Its Debt To Kazkommertsbank
JSC BTA Bank paid off the loan facility of 2.4 trillion tenge extended by Kazkommertsbank (KKB), KKB says in a Monday press release.
“Kazkommertsbank reports that BTA Bank covered its debt on 2.4 trln tenge loan on July 3 2017. As for the rest of the debt equal to 64.8 bn tenge, the bank wrote it off for the account of formed provisions,” said the bank. Thus as of July 3 the debt of BTA to KKB was covered to the full.
It is noted that the loan granted to BTA Bank JSC is considered as a large-scale deal for Kazkommertsbank effected by special relationship between the banks.
