Kazakhstan Prepares Special Tourist Routes Within Expo 2017

The International Specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 dedicated to the theme ‘Future Energy’ is one of the world’s largest cultural venues and one of the most exciting places for tourists from all around the world, ChinaNewswire.com reported.

In Hong Kong, Astana EXPO 2017 will present more than 70 tourist routes that were developed for foreign tourism companies including the visit to the world largest Baikonur Cosmodrome, sights which are on the list of world heritage of UNESCO and picturesque national parks of the Republic, as well as a variety of health-improving, mountain-skiing tours.

A special road-show called “Travel along the Great Silk Way together with Astana EXPO 2017”, which takes place in Hong Kong on June 16th, will promote Kazakhstani tourist products and packages created for EXPO 2017.

Roza Assanbayeva, President of the Kazakhstani Tourist Association, Deputy Director of the Promotion and Tourism Department of JSC NC Astana EXPO 2017, will present the largest exhibition dedicated to the theme of green energy, its business and cultural programs, as well as the content of national pavilions.

This year is declared as the year of China’s tourism in Kazakhstan. During the period of EXPO 2017, especially for tourists from this country, a visa-free regime up to 72 hours was introduced. Thus, the citizens of China who travel to third countries with a transit via Astana and Almaty airports by SCAT and Air Astana airlines can stay in these two cities for three days without a visa. Also there is a visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and Hong Kong.

The Organizing Committee of EXPO 2017 expects that around 100 000 people from China will visit the EXPO site, and more than 500 companies from this country will take part in the exhibition. Overall, over 5 million visits are expected at the EXPO 2017 site.

The International Specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 ‘Future Energy’ will take place between June 10 and September 10, 2017 in Astana. The exhibition will last 93 days and become one of the most spectacular cultural venues in 2017.
