Tourists Dissatisfied With Absence Of Single Pricing Policy Of Kazakhstani Hotels
Absence of single pricing policy in Kazakhstani hostels creates concern among the tourists, said Zhalgas Balgozhin, head of department of tourism industry of the Ministry of Investments and Development of Kazakhstan.
“Tourism companies are dissatisfied with the hotels, as it is almost impossible to book a room in hotel for EXPO period – July, August, September, as the hotel’s owners do not provide the price lists, do not fix them, start changing the prices,” she said at the regional session on technical regulation entitled “Standardization of services in field of tourism and hotel business”.
“Probably it does not concern all the hotels, not all the businessmen work professionally, but this situation exists. For profitable sales today they need to provide the sales plan for the period until the end of September,” he added.
In his words, sightseeing bureau must be available in every hotel.
“Probably a hotel has its own guides, its transport and sightseeing program, but naturally there must be a technological map, a guide must know the history of the capital and the history of Kazakhstan from the point of view of the state policy,” he said.
