Nine Biggest Assets Of Samruk-Kazyna Won’t Be Passed In Private Hands In 2017
Nine biggest assets of Samruk-Kazyna won’t be privatized in 2017, said Berik Sholpankulov, Vice Minister of Finance.
“Sale of objects under the complex privatization plan will be completed in 2017, except for 9 biggest objects of quasi-state sector – Samruk-Kazyna SWF- whose performance will be thorough and detailed, it is planned to be offered at IPO in 2019-2020,” he said.
In his words, the schedules of offering for privatization of objects in 2017-2018 have been reconsidered in terms of the assets of Samruk Kazyna fund, Baiterek national holding, KazAgro and a number of communal property objects.
“The schedule will be updated in the near future,” he added.
In his words 33 objects of TOP-65 (valued more than 5 bn tenge) will be offered for sale in 2017. Other 103 companies (14 Republican property, 89- communal property) will be transferred into the competitive environment.
