Kazakhstan: Tau-Ken Altyn To Sell 15 Tonnes Of Gold To National Bank In 2017
Tau-Ken Altyn Ltd (affiliated company of the national mining company Tau-Ken Samruk) plans to sell 15 tons of gold to the National Bank this year, said Mazhit Turmagambetov, chairman of Tau-Ken Samruk.
“Last year Tau-Ken Altyn sold 12 tons to the National Bank. This year the plan is 15 tons of gold,” he said at the information session about development of new industries Samruk-Kazyna.
The gold refinery plans to increase gold supply to the National Bank by 25% this year.
The head of the company said the plant has sold approximately 29 tons of gold in 12 kg bars in the period of operation.
Tau-Ken Altyn was established in 2009 as part of the project implementation «Construction of Refinery in Astana».
The appointment of Meyramgaly Tleuzhanov as a Director of LLP «Tau-Ken Altyn» has been accepted at the Decision of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company (Protocol №11/13, dated 31.10.2013).
