At Railway Stations Of Kazakhstan Wil Be Introduced A Screening Of Passengers And Luggage
On 16 railway stations in Kazakhstan will be carried out inspection of passengers, hand baggage and luggage, reports KazWorld.info with reference to the official website of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
The inspection procedure will be introduced from 1 February of the current year in order to increase the level of safety of passengers, ensuring anti-terrorist protection.
According to the Director of the Department of agriculture station of the Directorate of highway network of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” Zhuban Korpebayev, “this procedure will be introduced on a phased basis: from 1 February – the railway station Almaty – 1 and Almaty – 2, and from April 1 – at the railway station of Astana, on June 1 – all other 13 railway stations. For these purposes, purchased the 56 sets of special inspection equipment”.
Zh. Korpebayev in this regard explained that “passengers are advised to arrive at the station in advance, in order to pass inspection and not be late for the train”.
