Astana Budget Will Make 219 Bn Tenge In 2017

The draft budget has been approved for the years of 2017-2019 at the session of the public council of Astana, reports the city akimat.

“The total volume of local budget of Astana for the nearest two years is planned to the sum of 660.5 bn tenge, including 219 bn tenge for next year,” reads the message.

“More than 90 bn tenge will go for the social field next year, or 41.3% of the total budget,” said Andrey Lukin, deputy akim of Astana.

He also reported about contribution of Astana into Republican budget formation next year.

“According to the law on the transfers volume, the draft budget for next year prescribes exemptions- it is almost 20.5 bn tenge, it means the whole state was building the capital, now the capital is ready to bring money in the Republican budget as a donor,” he said.
