What Do Serik Akhmetov, Talgat Ermegiyaev Stay Busy In Prison
Serik Akhmetov, Talgat Ermegiyaev officially employed and receive a monthly salary in the colony, but Kairat Zhamalov is “not in deeds” and remains unemployed. This was reported today in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Condemned Talgat Ermegiyaev and Serik Akhmetov are employed. Their monthly wage depends on the amount of work performed. Convicted Kairat Zhamalov at the moment is not employed, “- said the director of department of the state language and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Almas Sadubaev.
He also noted that the above-mentioned prisoners are characterized mostly on the positive side and take an active part in all cultural events held in places of detention.
Whom do Ermegiyaev and Akhmetov work, the Interior Ministry didn’t inform. However, it’s easy to find out by number of correctional institutions.
The former head of the national company “Astana EXPO-2017” Talgat Ermegiyaev was placed in a strict regime colony EC 166/10 on the outskirts of Astana. Prisoners there are mostly working on metal, produce furniture, aerocrete, and also engaged in sewing. Wages are from 20 to 30 thousand tenge with the official deduction to pension funds.
Convicted ex-Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan is contained in prison AK 159/18 in Karabas village of Karaganda district. Previously, the administration announced that Serik Akhmetov is a laborer on the economic part.
By the way, this prison inmates are provided with work by state enterprise “Enbek-Karaganda”. This is the production of baked goods for the prisoners and residents of Abai district.
Recall that Talgat Ermegiyaev in June this year was sentenced to 14 years for taking bribes on a large scale, as well as embezzlement and theft of another’s property entrusted to him.
Serik Akhmetov in December 2015 has got 10 years for the appropriation of another’s property entrusted to him, illegal participation in entrepreneurial activity and abuse of power. In March 2016 he knocked off for up to 8 years.
