Cash volume increased by 25.2% to 1.55 trln in January-August in Kazakhstan
Cash volume in circulation lowered by 2.8% in August 2016, 25.2% up in January-August to 1.548 trln, reports the message posted on the site of the National Bank.
M1 monetary indicator, which includes cash and liquid tenge deposits, lowered in August by 4.7% ( 32.8% up since the beginning of the year) and made 4.026 trln tenge.
M2 monetary indicator, which includes cash, tenge and liquid currency deposits, lowered by 2.8% (+27%) to 10.923 trln tenge.
The monetary mass or the money in the economy lowered by 3% (+9.8%) to 18.899 trln tenge.
The monetary base or the money of the National Bank increased by 1.6% to 4.624 trln tenge.
The volume of deposits of second tier banks and other organizations on the accounts of the National Bank increased by 4% (-17.2%)- to 2.695 trln tenge.
