Kazakhstan Plans To Export 8.5 Million Tons Of GrainKazakhstan till June, 2017 plans to export 8.5 million tons grain, the vice-chairman of JSC Prodkorporation National Company Sabit Kashkimbayev said at the briefing in Astana.

“Taking into account gross collecting we predict export of 8.5 million tons, including Central Asia is our traditional markets: 4.2 million tons – Afghanistan, 1.8 million – Iran, about 500,000 – China, to 500,000 – Azerbaijan, Georgia – 200,000, Russia 900,000 tons,” he reported.

According to him, 400 tons will be exported to the world markets.

“The current expected balance of grain allows to provide completely domestic market and to keep the export potential at quite high level,” S. Kashkimbayev emphasized.

At the same time, S. Kashkimbayev has reported about the established prices of corn, purchased in commercial resources of the company.
