Pavlodar to open a logistics center to Russia for Almaty businessmen
Mayor of Pavlodar region has planned the construction of a logistics center, which will allow entrepreneurs and Almaty region to supply goods to Russia as soon as possible, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
Today’s meeting of mayor of Pavlodar region and Almaty entrepreneurs is dedicated to the presentation of the area and its features.
“Pavlodar region is interesting because it is a” gateway “to Russia. Previously, Almaty and regional businesses delivered the goods by car to Shymkent, and from there to Moscow and already out of the center of Russia in all areas and cities of the Russian Federation; The center offers new possiblities. The logistics center and the railway, which we plan to build up to 2018, will reduce cargo delivery path nearly 6000 km. This project, given the fact that we already have free land for construction, ready part of the infrastructure, will cost 12 mn dollars,” said Alexander Zaryayev, Acting Chairman, manager of a special economic zone company.
He notes that have already started to design an object in Pavlodar region. In addition, the organizers of logistics center believe that many entrepreneurs are interested in their project.
