K.Tokayev invited Georgian Parliamentarians to take part in “The Eurasian Dimension of the OSCE” Forum

Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to Kazakhstan Paata Kalandadze, the press service of the House reports.
K.Tokayev congratulated the Ambassador on the appointment to the post and noted that Kazakhstan and Georgia develop their relations on the basis of partnership, mutually beneficial cooperation and are interested in the further promotion of the dialogue.
The sides paid special attention to the issues of interaction within the international organizations, in particular, within the OSCE.
In this regard K.Tokayev invited the Georgian Parliamentarians to take part in the Trans-Asian Parliamentary Forum “The Eurasian Dimension of the OSCE” that will be held in spring, 2010 in Almaty with the support of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
Paata Kalandadze in his turn expressed assurance that the coming Kazakhstan’s OSCE chairmanship will be successful and fruitful. He stressed that Georgia supports Kazakhstan’s initiative on conduction of the OSCE Summit and thanked K.Tokayev for his fruitful activity on development and strengthening of the international relations.
