ADB loan’s 2nd tranche to be directed to “Western Europe-Western China” transport project implementation

The second tranche of the Asian Development Bank is to be directed to implementation of “Western Europe-Western China” largest transport project in Kazakhstan. The agreement of allocation of the ADB funds to the Kazakh side on the second tranche at the amount of USD 187 mln was signed at the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications on Thursday.
Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev and ADB Vice President Shaoyu Zhao signed the agreement. Minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazi Kussainov and Minister of Economy and Budget planning Bakhyt Sultanov participated in the signing ceremony.
Totally, the ADFB allocates USD 700 mln in three tranches.
