Kazakhstan and Italy share common views regarding major issues of international security, Nursultan Nazarbayev has said after the talks with Giorgio Napolitano.

“We hope that Iranian Government will hold constructive talks. Iran has always claimed peaceful use of nuclear energy and they must convince all of us in it. Iran is also Kazakhstan’s trade partner and  we would like this country to live in peace and prosperity”, the Kazakh President stressed.

The parties also focused on the Afghan situation. “Kazakhstan has always rendered aid to Afghanistan and today we are discussing the issue of teaching Afghan children. “It is necessary to find defects in the world financial system in order to solve problems triggered by the global crisis”, Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev said Thursday after negotiations with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano.

“This crisis is the biggest in the human history. We hope that the work of the Heads of the G-8 and the G-20 member states will change the situation. It is traditionally expected that industrially developed countries fight the crisis more effectively. However this crisis has begun in the most industrially developed country. We must find defects in the world financial system to resolve this problem”, N.Nazarbayev said.
