Kazakhstan to establish visa-free regime for 10 more countries - PresidentKazakhstan has announced its intensions to form an open labor market at the Italian-Kazakhstani Business Forum in Milan on Saturday.

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the forum that the country plans to form an open labor market. “If Italian businessmen want to work in Kazakhstan and build enterprises there, we will create all necessary conditions,” the Kazakh leader noted.

The Head of State added that foreign investors in Kazakhstan can attract their manpower without any quotas or licenses.

“Besides, we have established visa-free regime for investors from 10 countries, including Italy. We will extend the regime for our investors since July 15 and add 10 more countries to that list, namely Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Hungary, Monaco, Singapore, Australia, Norway, Sweden and Finland. I think that few countries in the world offer such unprecedented conditions to foreign investors,” President Nazarbayev concluded.

Nursultan Nazarbayev says Kazakhstan is a gate to EEU

President Nursultan Nazarbayev called Kazakhstan a gate to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) at the Italian-Kazakhstani Business Forum in Milan on Saturday.

“The Eurasian Economic Union with the integrated single market of 175 million people adds to Kazakhstan’s investment attractiveness,” the Kazakh President said, addressing the forum.

The Head of State pointed out that the trade bloc of Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia introduces the free movement of goods, capital, services and manpower.

“In case you set up an enterprise in Kazakhstan, your goods and products will have free access to that huge market without any barriers. In this light, Kazakhstan can be considered as a gate to the EEU,” Nazarbayev said.

“As you may know,” Nursultan Nazarbayev added, “Astana has been honored to host the International specialized exhibition “EXPO 2017” with the theme “Future Energy” and I would like to invite Italian government and businessmen to participate in it. It will surely add dynamics to fruitful cooperation between Kazakhstan and Italy”.

Kazakhstani, Italian businessmen work together as partners – Nazarbayev

Italian businessmen display great interest in Kazakhstan, President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said today while addressing the Kazakhstani-Italian Business Forum in Milan.

“We welcome the interest that the Italian businessmen display towards Kazakhstan. I was told that nearly 500 Italian companies had expressed their wish to participate in the forum. Unfortunately, we could invite only 200. But I look forward to meet with other 300 companies anytime and discuss possible cooperation,” President Nazarbayev told participants of the forum.

The Head of State noted that many Italian businessmen who are in attendance at the forum work in Kazakhstan and know its potential.

“We very much appreciate your trust and our candid dialogue and cooperation. Despite current developments in the global economy, we build plans together, create opportunities for business and work as partners,” President Nazarbayev added.

Nazarbayev, Renzi visit Kazakhstan and Italy’s pavilions at EXPO 2015

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renzi have visited the Kazakhstani and Italian pavilions at EXPO 2015 in Milan, the Akorda’s press service reports.

The two leaders surveyed the expositions of the pavilions and left their entries in the books of honorable guests.

The world exposition themed “Feeding the Planet. Energy for Life” opened in May 2015 in the northern Italian city of Milan and will run through October 31. Kazakhstani pavilion is one of the most popular in Milan. It is visited by up to 4,500 guests a day.

Kazakhstan collaborated with German firm Facts and Fiction to create the pavilion expressing the country’s hospitality and openness to Italian and international visitors to EXPO 2015.

The Kazakhstani pavilion translates ears of wheat and rich agricultural resources into its architecture. The pavilion is divided into 6 zones dedicated to agriculture, live stock breeding, aquaculture, ecology, soil management and astonishing facts about Kazakhstan. Through interactive and multimedia technologies visitors learn more about history and culture of Kazakhstan and can even visit the famous Kazakh steppes.

Kazakhstan makes tangle contribution to ensure global food security – President

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has participated today in the opening ceremony of the National Day of Kazakhstan at EXPO 2015 in Milan, the Akorda’s press service reports.

The Head of State stressed that the theme of the exhibition “Feeding the Planet. Energy for Life” is relevant, while addressing guests of the ceremony.

“Ensuring food security has become of paramount importance amid challenges of the 21st century. To overcome this problem all countries in the world need to join their efforts,” the Kazakh President noted.

Nursultan Nazarbayev also drew attention of those present to the fact that Kazakhstan is already making its tangible contribution to ensure global food security.

President Nazarbayev underscored that the exhibition in Milan is not only an effective dialogue platform on food security, but also a good opportunity to learn more about the traditions and culture of other countries.

In conclusion, the Kazakh leader invited everyone to visit the upcoming EXPO 2017 event in Astana.

Italy shares Kazakhstan’s stance on global peace – Matteo Renzi

Italy shares Kazakhstan’s stance on global peace, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi declared at the Kazakhstani-Italian Business Forum in Milan on Saturday.

“Italy is interested not only in doing business in Kazakhstan, we are also interested in Kazakhstan’s idea about fighting terrorism and its stance on peace and accord,” Prime Minister Renzi said.

“We share your stance on the global peace and the idea of understanding between various cultures. President Nazarbayev represents the country which has over 100 ethnic groups in it. And, in this context, all European and Asian countries should cooperate on fight against terrorism in order to protect the world and common values,” the Italian politician concluded.
