Today in the Government the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting of the Commission on international humanitarian aid.
The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan will allocate $ 200 thousand to provide humanitarian assistance to the victims of the earthquake in Nepal, Kazpravda.kz reports citing the official website of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Taking into account the current state of emergency in Nepal affected by the earthquake, the Commission recommended that the Government of Kazakhstan to provide official humanitarian assistance to the country in the amount of $ 200 thousand. These funds will be allocated from the emergency reserve of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“The Commission also decided to recommend to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to provide humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan. Vegetable oil, warm clothes, beds, tents, bedding, dishes will be supplied to this country,” – said in a statement.
