Website on 550th anniversary of Kazakh Khanate launched by Ministry of Culture

The official website dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate is created, Kazpravda.kz reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The ministry noted that the site should be an important informational and educational resource, popularizing the history of the Kazakh Khanate.
All materials are distributed within the sections: “the Kazakh Khanate,” “Independence”, “News”, “Action plans”, “Film projects”, “Video blog” and “Cultural Heritage”.
For example, in “the Kazakh Khanate” section the visitors can explore the genealogy of the Kazakh khans and find artifacts from the collection of the National Museum of Kazakhstan relating to the religious and material culture of our people in XV-XVIII centuries, documentary and research findings, and publications of leading Kazakh scientists about the history and formation of the Kazakh Khanate.
The “Independence” section displays the scientific and popular articles about the formation of independent Kazakhstan, the historical role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in building an independent, safe and prosperous country.
The “News” section tells about the international scientific-practical conferences, patriotic actions, intellectual games and competitions, festivals, theater premieres, concerts, exhibitions and a variety of events taking place in the country and abroad as part of the anniversary celebration of the Kazakh Khanate.
In “Film projects” section you can find information about the shooting of the animated film “Kazakh Eli”, documentary “Kazakh khanate 550 years” and historical and dramatic television show “Kazakh Eli”.
The “video blog” has patriotic video clips, popular scientific and educational television programs and documentaries.
The website also has the list of the events planned for celebration of the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate, and until the end of 2015 about 100 events are planned.
