Kazakhstan decides to increase the number of countries with visa-free entry

Kazakhstan is considering an increase in the number of countries whose citizens are free to enter our country. This was announced during a briefing at the CCS by deputy chairman of RK NCE Gulnar Kurbanbayeva, Kazpravda.kz reports.
“To date, we seriously address the issue of visa-free regime. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, the National Security Committee and the NCE have jointly developed and supported the project together with RK MID in continuing the pilot project, which included 10 countries; now we want to increase the number of countries up to 26. We very much hope that this will help us in the EXPO. We are promoting this issue and we hope that by the summer we will have a new legal act, which allows visit our country in visa-free regime, ” – said Gulnara Kurbanbayeva.
NCE Deputy Chairman noted that the EXPO is a strategically important event in terms of tourism development.
“There is an opportunity to boost tourism and make it more active. We have developed a joint action plan with the company” EXPO-2017 “, which is involved in construction and reception of the guests. We are also actively cooperating with the JSC, engaged in the creation of infrastructure in Astana. Currently we are working on tour packages for guests visiting not only capital but also the nearby areas, “- said Gulnara Kurbanbayeva.
Today in Kazakhstan, she added, the tourism sector has over two thousand subjects, working on the reception of tourists, and sending our citizens abroad.
Also, according to Gulnara Kurbanbayeva, 1.5 thousand companies are working to receive guests in Kazakhstan.
