Astana-Seoul air route to be launched

Kazakhstan and South Korea signed a MoU to increase the number of air flights.
The new regular flight Astana – Seoul is to be launched this summer, as agreed during the talks in the South Korean capital, Kazpravda.kz reports.
The talks resulted in the signed Memorandum of Understanding, providing for an increased number of flights between the two countries. The plan is to launch a bi-weekly Astana – Seoul flight.
“The meeting parties were representatives of Air Astana and Asiana Airlines, Korean Air and Jin Air companies, also of Incheon International Airport Corporation. During the talks, Kazakhstan side proposed to increase the air carriages between Kazakhstan and Korea by 35% .
The current air communication between the two countries is only Almaty – Seoul route.
