Kazakhstan boxer Gennady Golovkin won a TKO over Briton Martin Murray, cites reporting.

The bout, which took place in Monte Carlo (Monaco) in the Salle des Etoiles arena, ended in the 11th round. From the first seconds Golovkin was actively attacking. The second round was on similar scenario, but Murray was increasingly clinching. In the third segment of the battle, the Kazakhstani made a couple of good series, but Murray was able to withstand them.

In the next round the British boxer was twice knocked down, but still endured up to the gong. He also withstood the fifth segment. GGG continued to punch in the ensuing rounds. At the end of the tenth round he sent Murray on the floor by a powerful blow. The Briton was able to rise and immediately the gong sounded.

Thus, Gennady Golovkin retained the world middleweight champion title on WBA (Super), IBO and WBC (Interim) version.
