Ex-deputy chairman of financial police appointed deputy mayor of Astana

Ex-deputy chairman of financial police appointed deputy mayor of AstanaLukin has been working the deputy chairman of the financial police since 2005.

Former first deputy chairman of Kazakhstan Agency for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption Andrei Lukin was appointed the deputy Mayor of Astana, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the website of Astana administration.

As previously reported, under the President’s order, Lukin Andrei Ivanovich was relieved of the post of the first deputy chairman of Kazakhstan Agency for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption (Financial Police).

Andrey Lukin was born in Tselinograd. He graduated from Tselinograd Civil Engineering Institute (1978-1983, major “engineer”) and E. Buketov Karaganda State University (1988-1993, lawyer).

He served as a security officer of the OBKhSS Soviet police department, a senior detective, a Deputy Chief of OBKhSS Tselinograd police department, a chief of the 2nd police department in Tselinograd; he headed the Eastern Department of the Interior affairs in Akmola, the department of economic police of the RK MIA. In 1985-1998 he was the head of Akmola Eastern Police department. Later, he was appointed a director of Astana housing department. In 2003 he was the head of the legal work department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this position he worked during two months after that he became a Vice Minister of Industry and Trade.

In 2005, Lukin was appointed a deputy head of the Financial Police, and in 2006 he became the Major-General of financial police.

A. Lukin has a number of medals: “For 10 years of faithful service”, “Astana”, “10 years of Kazakhstan’s Independence” (2001), “Kazakhstan Constitution – 10 years” (2005).

CEO of Astana Social Entrepreneurship Corporation named

The board of directors of the Astana Social Entrepreneurship Corporation has appointed today Yersain Nagaspayev as CEO of the corporation, astana.kz reports.

Besides, the meeting discussions addressed the corporation’s further development issues, its investment projects aimed at ensuring energy and food safety of the capital city.

Astana Mayor Adilbek Dzhaksybekov, who chaired the meeting, noted that it is crucial to spur the Astana city economy as a national budget contributor and intensify investment generation efforts in the context of the President’s Address.
