The performance was highly praised by the critics, and won storms of applause and cheering, Kazpravda.kz reports.
The concert opened with “Kudasha-duman” composition by Yerkegali Rakhmadiyev, performed by a symphony orchestra of the Astana Opera Theatre, conducted by Abzal Mukhitdinov. Young and talented violinist Yerzhan Kulibayev played “The Legend of dombra” by Nagim Mendygaliev with virtuosity.

In the second part, Kazakhstan presented the opera Attila by G. Verdi. By the way, this work became a point of contact between Astana Opera and the Opera Bastille. The famous Italian director Pier Luigi Pizzi set it specifically for the world premiere of the theater in Astana in 2013.
Pierre Cardin, who attended the concert, said he was impressed by the orchestra performance and enjoyed the seen and the heard.
As known, Astana Opera is now on a world tour that includes five countries. They have already performed in the US, Canada, France, and ahead are Belgium and the Netherlands.
