Sea Star wins AED 50 million contract in Kazakhstan

Khaleej Times reported that Abu Dhabi based Sea Star Group has won AED 50 million electrical and automation contract for an oil and gas development project in Kazakhstan.

Mr Ashraf Ali MD Director of Sea Star Engineering & Technical Services said that the Kashagan Experimental Development project would be completed by the H2 of 2010. The project is being developed by a consortium led by Agip KCO.

Mr Ali said that “We have almost a decade of operations in Kazakhstan where we have been actively participating in major projects. This contract is a testimony to our professionalism and on time execution of works.”

Sea Star Group is currently actively involved several electrical, automation and piping related projects in oil & gas, power and petrochemical sectors in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and India.
