The 16th International exhibition of equipment and technologies for mining, metallurgical and coal industry “MinTech 2014” and the 4th International exhibition of equipment and technologies “KazInterPower” were held in Pavlodar on the eve of the signing of the EEU Treaty.
About 60 companies – leading manufacturers of equipment and technologies from 9 countries: Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Finland, Switzerland, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan took part in the exhibitions.
This year, as stated their participants the interest of energy companies, both from the CIS and far seas countries, in such events notably increased. For example the company OMICRON electronics GmbH (Austria), the world leader in the development and production of advanced test and measurement systems for operation and diagnosis of primary and secondary equipment of power plants and substations demonstrated their achievements.
However, the Russian companies which offered the partners new products and technologies for mining, metallurgical and electrical industries are still dominating in the “palette of partnership.” At the same time, domestic enterprises were on an equal footing with them. Thus, the company Phoenix Contact Kazakhstan is a leading global supplier of components, systems and solutions in the field of electrical engineering, electronics and industrial automation; the firm South- Electrokomplekt manufactures cable products under the trademark ElkomKabel.
In the frames of the event a number of companies including JSC Alageum Electric ( Astana), LLP TenderPro ( Karaganda) and LLP XOR KZ ( Almaty) held workshops and shared experience in energy saving technologies, creation of a unified Eurasian electronic trading platform and development of systems for computer design.
The exhibitions once again demonstrated that economic partnerships benefit their members and peoples, and these business contacts will strengthen in future.
