«Lessons of harmony» wins Grand Prix of Film Festival in France«Lessons of harmony» film by the Kazakh director Emir Baygazin has won the Grand Prix at the International Film Festival Premiers Plams in the French city of Angers, the official website of “Kazakhfilm” JSC named after Shaken Aimanov reports.

The director has been also awarded a cash prize of 15,000 euros for the promotion and distribution of the film in France.

The international jury consisted of Maria de Medeiros, director Catherine Corsini (Chairman of the jury), actress Eliza Lasovsky, screenwriter Anna-Louise Trividik, director Nadir Moknesh and actor Bruno Todeschini.

Emir Baygazin’s film has already won dozens of awards in Europe and the USA. The first prize was received at the Berlin Film Festival “Silver Bear” for Best Cinematography.

International Film Festival Premiers Plans was held from Jan 17-26. Festival Premiers Plans in Angers is a film festival dedicated to debuting European filmmakers and is meant to help new directors meet their audience. This year’s festival featured more than 80 debut films of directors from different countries.
