Astana EXPO-2017 pavilion to be unveiled in Abu Dhabi


Astana EXPO-2017 pavilion to be unveiled in Abu DhabiKazakhstan will partake in the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi for the first time ever, the press service of “NC “Astana EXPO-2017” JSC reports.

Representatives of the company are expected to attend events within the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week on January 18-22, 2014.

Prior to that, Kazakhstani delegation headed by Minister of Environment and Water Resources Nurlan Kapparov is to take part in the 4th session of the Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) on January 17-18. Kazakhstan became the member of the organization in 2013.

The Abu Dhabi-hosted World Future Energy Summit will bring together 26 000 guests, and 650 companies from 40 countries. 20 national pavilions are to be opened within the event.

Reps of “NC “Astana EXPO-2017” JSC and the Kazakh Environment and Water Resources Ministry will attend the panel sessions on the sidelines of the summit.

“Astana EXPO-2017” pavilion will be a part of the huge exhibition held in Abu Dhabi during the days of the summit. Guests of the pavilion, covering an area of 225 square meters, will be familiarized with the forthcoming EXPO event in Astana and its topic “Energy of the Future”. It is Rapil Zhoshybayev, the National Cmmissioner of the International specialized exhibition “EXPO-2017” and the first deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, who will unveil the grandiose showroom.

The theme of the EXPO event in Astana resonates the main ideas and topics of the summit. In 2017 Kazakhstan will become a large-scale global platform for constructive discussions where countries, companies and various organizations are to share their vision and put forward their solutions to key energy challenges of our time.

Kazakhstani delegation is believed to pay a visit to Masdar city where it is set to meet the organizing committee of “Dubai EXPO-2020” event.
