Transaero Airlines is the only carrier that operates flights from Moscow to Kokshetau. The launch of operations on this route followed the comprehensive reconstruction of the runway and passenger terminal, which has ensured a high level of customer service and aircraft handling.

• Departure from Moscow Vnukovo Airport on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 00.30, arrival in Kokshetau at 05.00

On this route Transaero Airlines will operate Boeing 737-700 aircraft in Business and Economy class configuration. The carrier will offer Tourist class fares on its flights to Kokshetau that will include 20 kg free luggage allowance and economy class onboard service.

The launch of flights to Kokshetau is another step towards Transaero Airlines developing safe, comfortable and affordable air services between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2013 Transaero celebrated 20 years of flights to this country. In 1993, then a very young Russian carrier, it had two flights per week on the Moscow-Almaty route. 20 years of successful services have brought results. Today, Transaero is the largest foreign airline operating flights to Kazakhstan in terms of passenger traffic. Transaero offers direct flights between Moscow and eight Kazakh cities – Astana, Almaty, Aktau, Atyrau, Karaganda, Kokshetau, Kostanay and Shimket.

Transaero is proud to have been the first foreign airline to start operating flights between Moscow and Astana (then Akmola) in response to a personal request made by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev in 1995.

Transaero has carried nearly 4 million passengers between Russia and Kazakhstan over the past 20 years.

In 2013 Transaero was recognized as the best foreign airline in the Republic of Kazakhstan as the result of the “Choice of the year: number one in Kazakhstan” competition.

Transaero remains loyal to its mission of being a safe air bridge between Russia and Kazakhstan.
