Kazakhstan's real GDP growth expected to be 6% in 2013Real GDP growth in 2013 is expected to reach previously planned level of 6%, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev told a Cabinet meeting on Thursday, Kazinform refers to primeminister.kz.

According to him, nominal GDP in 2013 will amount to 34.4 trillion tenge, which is by 153.3 billion tenge more than the level approved in May.

Talking about future oil prices, the Minister said that due to the changes in world commodity prices, the forecast level of the world oil price was increased to 106.3 U.S. dollars per barrel.

Thus, according to the ministry, preliminary calculations show that the average oil price over the last 9 months has formed at the level of 108.7 U.S. dollars per barrel, and in the case the price remains at the level of 100 U.S. dollars per barrel, the annual average price is expected to be 106.3 U.S. dollars per barrel at the end of 2013.
