Victor Poznakharevhas been appointed as director of the new subsidiary. He has a wealth of IT sales experience in Central Asia having previously worked for companies such as Samsung, Motorola and LG.
Egons Mednis, president of Elko Group, said: “Entering a new market is never easy, but we are equipped with 20 years successful experience, international know-how and efficient management. Therefore we are very excited to face this challenge.”
“We see this region of Central Asia as one with extremely high economical potential, so we are looking forward to a very successful operation in Kazakhstan – the ninth largest country in the world [by area], inhabited by 17 million people.
