PM suggests Vietnam taking part in Kazakhstan economy diversification
ASTANA. September 15. KAZINFORM. /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Within the framework of the Vietnam’s Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s official visit to Kazakhstan the Kazakh-Vietnamese Business Forum is taking place in Astana today.
Premiers of the two states Karim Massimov and Nguyen Tan Dung took part in the forum. “The economies of Vietnam and Kazakhstan are mutually complementary. Vietnamese enterprises have plenty of opportunities of participation in Kazakhstan’s economy diversification”, K. Massimov said opening the conference. “I know that Kazakh companies are interested in investment to Vietnam’s economy. The particular agreements reached between the Vietnamese and Kazakh companies will open big opportunities for our bilateral cooperation”, he noted.
At today’s bilateral talks a number of very important agreements on cooperation were signed between the enterprises of the two states. Among them are the treaties on encouragement of joint investments, mutual visits of citizens, cooperation in the sphere of education, interaction between KazMunaiGaz JSC and PetroVietnam Oil and Gas Corporation. Besides, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan and Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of energy and mineral resources.
