“As a rule, the first half for airline industry is the low season, and this year is not an exception”, says the president of “Air Astana ” Peter Foster. “The results, however, are satisfactory, and they are due to the launch of new routes to Kiev and a significant increase in passenger traffic to Istanbul by signing Codeshare agreement with Turkish Airlines”.

In addition, in April this year “Air Astana” has successfully passed the third Operational Safety Audit IATA (IOSA), and in June it confirmed the rating of 4 stars by Skytrax agency, and once again the company was named “Best Airline in Central Asia and India” at the International Air Show at Le Bourget .
