Kazakhstan and Russia share interests in speeding up construction of Caspian gas pipeline – Nazarbayev
ORENBURG. September 11. KAZINFORM. /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ At today’s Kazakh-Russian Inter-Regional Forum Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has noted that almost all organizational issues concerning the project of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium have been solved.
“I think the responsible authorities and companies of our countries should complete activities on approval of the CPC expansion project by the shareholders till the year-end”, the Head of the State said.
According to him, all issues with the shareholders are solved. “All we need is just to complete necessary formalities”, he added.
Speaking at the VI Forum of Inter-Regional Cooperation President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has said that both Kazakhstan and Russia are interested in speeding up the resolution of the issue on construction of the Caspian gas pipeline.
“Implementation of this project will allow to ensure additional supplies of Kazakh-Turkmen gas to Russia. So the resolution of all issues and start of the project realization is in general interest of our states”, N. Nazarbayev noted.
