'2 Days: Gennady Golovkin' premieres June 8HBO is making a short film about Kazakhstan boxer Gennady Golovkin, the WBA and IBO world champion, that will premier on Saturday, June 8, Golovkin’s community on vk.com reports.

HBO official website confirms the information. It says the episode debuts Saturday, June 8 at 12 midnight (ET/PT) immediately after the HBO Boxing After Dark. The channel will continue rotating the video until June 29 when Golovkin will fight against Matthew Macklin.

The middleweight fight will be held at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket city (Connecticut, USA). It will be the main boxing evening event of the night and will be broadcasted on HBO Boxing After Dark.

Gennady Golovkin, 31, is known as GGG is an undefeated boxer from Kazakhstan who competed in the Middleweight division at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the silver medal. He is the current WBA and IBO Middleweight Champion.

With an 88% knockout rate, Golovkin holds the greatest KO ratio in middleweight championship history and is 1st amongst all active current and former champions, and 3rd in the overall championship history. He has never been knocked down or knocked out in 376 fights, both as a professional and amateur.

He has fought the total of 26 fights in his boxing career wining all of them (23 with KOs).
