Prices for sold agricultural products grow in KazakhstanThe prices for sold agricultural products in the first quarter of 2013 grew by 3.2% in Kazakhstan, according to the Statistical Agency.

The prices for fruits and vegetables grew by 3.9% in March comparing to December 2012. The cattle breeding products became more expensive for 2.1%.

Thus, in January-March the price for barley rose by 6.3%, oats – by 5.1%, wheat – 4.1%, corn – 3.6%, millet – 0.7%, rice – 0.5%, rye – 0.4%, and buckwheat price is 0.2% down.

Cabbage price also increased by 8.5%, beet – 5.2%, carrots – 3.2%, onion – 2.6%, potatoes – 2.8%, sunflower seeds – 3.3%, peas – 2.7%.

In addition, the lamb price increased by 1.8% and cattle meat is 1.5% up. Horse meat became more expensive for 1.3%, poultry – 0.1%, pork price decreased by 0.9% . Eggs went up by 5.7%, raw milk – by 2.5%, wool – 0.5%.
