“Education and science of the 21st century-2013” expo kicks off in Astana

The 10th jubilee international exhibition “Education and science of the 21st century-2013” has kicked off in the Kazakh capital today.
The aim of the exhibition is to demonstrate the achievements in the sphere of education, modern teaching technologies, equipment, new academic programs and methodological complexes of the new generation and render assistance to young specialists in the practical use of knowledge gained.
The event brought together more than 70 leading organizations, education and science institutions from Kazakhstan, Russia, Hungary, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey, Switzerland, etc.
Top-ranking universities of Kazakhstan traditionally participate in the exhibition as well, namely: Nazarbayev University (Astana), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty), Satpayev Kazakh National Technological University (Almaty), Tynyshpayev Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications (Almaty), and Buketov Karaganda State University (Karaganda). DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) is an active annual participant of the exposition.
The “Education and science of the 21st century-2013” expo is set to be held until February 22, 2013.
The event has been organized by the international exposition company “Atakent-Expo” with the official support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Astana Akimat.
