Ambassador: Kazakhstani and Armenian relations are stable
Kazakhstani Ambassador to Armenia Aimdos Bozzhigitov has met journalists today and spoke about the twenty anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Armenia and Kazakhstan. The Ambassador underlined that the relations are stable and the ties between nations have strengthened during the whole history.
“Relations between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Armenia are developing in frame of the CSTO, CIS, Eurasec and in some other international organizations”, the Ambassador noted and added that Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbaev and Russian President Boris Yeltsin were engaged in normalization of NK issue yet on 1990s.
The speaker reminded that the sides have signed many various agreements but according to the Ambassador the economic ties are still able to be developed and they need to be activated. According to him no transport direct corridors exist between Armenia and Kazakhstan.
At the same time the trade-economic relations between Armenia and Kazakhstan are developing. As the Ambassador informed 23 Kazakh companies are acting in Armenia. 60 companies are acting in Kazakhstan with Armenian capital. Armenian brandy is exported to Kazakhstan as well.
As the Ambassador underlined the bilateral relations on humanitarian sphere are also developing.
