E-learning system to be introduced in 926 education organizations in 2013
ASTANA. August 3. KAZINFORM The e-learning system is expected to embrace 926 education organizations in Kazakhstan in 2013, the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan informs.
“The e-learning system will be introduced in 926 education organizations in 2013,” the statement of the Ministry reads, Pm.kz reports.
In whole, it is planned to introduce the electronic education system in 4135 education organization by 2015: 537 – in 2012, 926 – 2013, 1317 – 2014, 1311 organizations will be involved.
Thus, 50% of all education organization will be using an electronic learning system in their education processes by 2016. It is planned to embrace up to 90% of all education organizations with the project of electronic learning by 2020.
It should be noted that the education organizations which will participate in the system of electronic education e-learning are automatically provided the broadband access to the Internet, the working places of teachers in rooms are equipped with personal and necessary equipment.
Besides, every school and college will have to organize two computer rooms for students. One of them will be stationary and the other will be mobile. Besides, additional jobs in library will be created. All computers and notebook computers will be connected to the Internet.
Besides, digital education resources are created for students within the project. 7043 electronic resources on 6 school subjects and 38 subjects of 8 college specialties are currently developed in 2012. They will be introduced during the 2012-2013 academic year.
The project of e-learning system is one of the most important directions of the State Program on Development of Education and, accordingly, its implementation will become an important step for further modernization of the education system of Kazakhstan.
