World's latest IT developments showcased in Kazakhstan“Connect Kazakhstan-2012” exhibition and conference has opened within the frame of the 5th Astana Economic Forum today.

During the two-day conference IT experts are expected to discuss new directions in the development of ICT in Kazakhstan, demonstrate trends and up-to-date innovative solutions in this sphere, and share their experience in the Internet business.

According to the organizers of the event – Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications, world and local producers of software products, network equipment and IT technologies will exhibit their innovative products and services.

“This conference can become yet another dialogue platform for IT specialists, public agencies and business structures that will affect all spheres of our lives. Kazakhstan attaches great importance to the development of the IT sector. The country offers e-Government, online services and various innovative projects to its population,” Vice Minister of Transport and Communications Saken Sarsenov noted.

“We have invited well-known IT experts from the USA, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, and Estonia to attend the exposition and exchange the experience,” Vice Minister Sarsenov told representatives of mass media at the event.

Guests of the exposition may survey the latest achievements and technologies of Great Britain, Germany, Lithuania and Kazakhstan, such as music table, multimedia stands, 3-D games and so on, at the exhibition pavilion of Beijing Palace Soluxe Hotel in Astana.
